PORTUGUESE COACHING GROUP

Portuguese Coaching Group (GPC) is a group of coaches, part of Portuguese Association of People Management (APG) and its main purpose is to contribute to recognise and honour the activity of Coaching as a profession in Portugal.
This is a specialized group, which is governed by APG's bylaws and code of ethics, and for its specific operation, adds to these a set of regulations and additional action principles as you can see in the documents shared on this page.
GPC integrates APG's effective members, with regularised membership fees, who express their intention to join the group and who are:
• professional coaches;
• or, having other professions, have an interest in the coaching activity.
In order to serve its purpose, GPC commits to:
a. Promote the development of its members as professionals and / or interested in coaching, namely through workshops, meetings and providing information; thematic gatherings; supervision; peer coaching, among others;
b. Promote research, study and dissemination of aspects related with coaching, including the development and updating of the professionals through practice and training;
c. Follow the code of ethics and ensure its compliance and updating;
d. Foster a spirit of collaboration between its members and other recognised and credible coaching entities;
e. Collaborate, in the field of coaching, in APG initiatives, representing and ensuring contact with related organisations, national and foreign.

If you want to play a more active role you will need to share in your APG application certificates with the specific coaching training you have taken.
